“Let me go!” Michelangelo shrieked as Leonardo carried him over his shoulder. Leo merely hummed, tuning out Mikey’s yelling and screaming.  Donatello smirked as he counted the gold and money they had stolen. They passed any people as they walked along the path through the woods, but no one tried to stop them. Mikey closed his eyes as he wiped a few tears away, it didn’t not go unnoticed by Donnie.

“Perhaps we should rest of a while, brother,” Donnie offered as he put their gold and money back into his pocket. Leo turned and looked down at his little brother before nodding softly. Walking over to a nearby shade tree, Leo dropped Mikey down on his butt. Mikey hissed and pouted as he looked away from the much larger turtle.

“It would be wise to stay put and not try to run,” Leo warned.

“Why?” Mikey retorted, wanting to start a fight. But Leo remained calm and relaxed.

“I’m much faster than you,” Leo whispered as he pulled out one of katana blades and held it in front of Mikey. The young turtle’s sparkly blue eyes shining in the blade. “And much more skilled.” Leo found himself staring, memorized by Mikey’s shameless beauty. “Usagi is a very lucky rabbit,” Leo muttered as he stood back up and turned to his brother. “We can camp here for the night. We are far enough away from the village that if they come looking for….ummm,” Leo tilts his head as he looks back down at Mikey, realizing he didn’t know his name.

“Michelangelo,” Mikey breathed.

“If they come looking for him, they won’t catch up by morning. We will leave by sunrise.” Donnie nodded as his brother spoke. “I’m going fishing. Watching him carefully, Donatello.” Leo disappeared into the forest before Donnie or Mikey could say anything. Mikey looked over nervously at Donnie, the purple banded turtle was just as fit and in shape as his brother. But Mikey was no push over either. His brother and farther trained him, knowing that Mikey would have men crawling over him due to his beauty and kindness, Mikey was a rare prize that everyone wanted. But yet, Mikey know his skills were not as focused as these brothers.

“What do you want with me anyhow?” Mikey asked softly. Donnie raised an eye ridge at Mikey as he pulled out his knife and started to sharpen it on a rock.

“You are valuable,” Donnie shrugged, “Someone will pay a lot of money for you.”

“Y-you are going to s-sell me?” Mikey stuttered, his heart beating faster. Donnie simple nodded before turning his attention back to his knife. “Usagi will come after me! So will my brother!” Mikey shouted, his fear quickly replaced with anger.

“Nothing Leonardo and I haven’t dealt with before,” Donnie said coldly.

“Usagi knew Leonardo and he knew Usagi. How do they know each other? I’ve known Usagi my entire life. He has never said anything about you and your brother.”

“Here isn’t much too say. Leo and Usagi have ran into each other many times over the years. They have their own personal rivalry.”

“So I’m just part of Leo’s stupid games!?” Mikey frowned.

“No,” A stern voice echoed between them. Mikey and Donnie looked up to see Leo returning with some fish stabbed on his sword. “We are doing you a favor, are we not?” Leo takes the fish off his sword and hands them to Donnie, who starts to build a fire and cook them. “You hardly seem like Usagi type.”

“You know nothing about me, or Usagi. He is my best friend.”

“But is he your lover?” Leo simply asks as he stand back up and help his brother finish cooking the fish. Mikey licked his lips, he was so hungry. He hadn’t eaten all day. He was far too nervous about the wedding to eat. Leo smirked as he noticed Mikey eyeing the food. Once the first fish was done, Leo placed it on two thick leaves like a plate and handed it to the youngling.

“Thank you,” Mikey whispered. Leo nodded and turned to get his own fish. Mikey tried to hide his surprise when Leo sat down next to him and started eat. Donnie sighed as he looked up and noticed the storm clouds moving in.

“Wonderful,” he snorted as he turned to Leo and Mikey. “Did you happen to notice a cave or some sort of shelter nearby while you were out?” Leo looked up and frowned as a rain drop landed on his shoulder.

“Actually, yes. There is a small cave by the river,” Leo turned to Mikey and laughed as he realized Mikey had finished eating his dinner. “Someone was hungry.” Mikey didn’t say anything or even look at Leo.

“Let’s move,” Donnie said as he grabbed their things. Mikey gasped as Leo takes him by the hand and pulls him along as they make their way through the forest and toward the river. Mikey groaned when Leo bring them to the cave, it was very small.

“You call this a cave? It’s more like a rabbit hole.” Mikey complained.

“You should be used to it. Considering that your fiancé is a bunny,” Leo snickered.

Usagi stood in the middle of the courtyard in the pouring rain, his parent’s servants had taken down the webbing decorations and chairs. Raphael and Splinter stood under the shelter, watching the young rabbit as he stared down at the ground, his eyes widen and cold. Taking a deep breath, Raph stepped out into the rain and walked toward Usagi.

“Usagi,” Raph called over the sound of the rain, “Please, come inside.” Usagi’s fur and cloths where soaking wet, making a large puddle at his feet. “We are all worried an-”

“I’m going after them,” Usagi cut him off.

“We should go inside and talk about this,” Raph tried to calm him.

“There is nothing to talk about. Every second we wait, Leo takes Mikey further away from us.” Raph sighed and lowered his head.

“Usagi, I’m going with you. Mikey is my baby brother.” Raph muttered. Usagi smiled softly as he turned and rested a hand on Raph’s shoulder.

“Your support is helpful,” Usagi said, “We will leave once the rain stops. I know where Leo plans on taking Mikey.”
